A society where mothers living in places with inadequate
maternal and child support systems can have an online 'nest'
where they feel they belong
Creating a future where all mothers in the world can give
birth and raise children with peace of mind through the 'nest'
I first visited Tanzania in January 2020.
Through a project to develop an educational app
for midwives, I came to understand that many
pregnant women face pregnancy and childbirth
without having sufficient opportunities to consult
about physical changes or warning signs.
Maternal and infant deaths are not caused by a
single factor. They result from overlapping gaps
in healthcare, access to accurate information,
education, and open communication. While I cannot
personally provide medical services or
infrastructure, I believed I could help create a
system that connects mothers and healthcare
providers.
MomNest is designed as a digital platform where
mothers are not left isolated and can access
“awareness” and “connection” when they need it
most.
Currently, we are implementing the platform in
Tanzania as our starting point. In the future, we
aim to expand to other regions in Sub-Saharan
Africa and establish a locally sustainable
operational model.

through donations.
Whether you are an individual, a company, or an
organization, you can choose how you would like to get
involved.
In Tanzania, where access to healthcare and accurate
information is limited, MomNest is advancing initiatives
that empower mothers to make informed and appropriate
decisions.
Donations are one way to help sustain and expand this
work.
